Our Non-Semester Building Hours are Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. from December 19th - January 17th. We are open only for Mass on Saturday and Sunday.
The building will be closed on Friday, December 23rd, Monday, December 26th, and Monday, January 2nd in observance of Christmas and New Years. We WILL only have Mass and Confession offered on Friday, December 23rd at our regularly scheduled time of 12:15 p.m. We WILL NOT have Mass or Confession offered on December 26th or January 2nd.
Join us for a parish retreat on the Holy Spirit on January 20th & 21st, 2023. We will begin Friday night from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at St. Lawrence Newman Center. We will have a pot luck on Friday night and lunch will be served on Saturday. Saturday begins with Mass at 9 a.m. All parishioners and young adults are welcome to attend. Throughout the semester we have collected quite a bit of items that are in our lost and found. If any of these are yours, please come to the office to claim them. After one month, they will be donated.
The Christmas and New Years Masses are as follows: -Saturday, Dec. 24: 4 p.m. (No 9 a.m. Mass) -Sunday, Dec. 25: 9 a.m. ONLY -Sunday, Jan. 1: 9 a.m. ONLY -Sunday, Jan. 8: 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. -Sunday, Jan. 15: 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, January 22nd will return to the regularly scheduled In-semester Mass times of 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 7 p.m. There will be no confessions following the Masses listed above.
Due to low temperatures, the Eucharistic Procession will be canceled that was originally scheduled to take place this Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. We hope to reschedule at some point in the new year.
We would like to give the community of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Newman Center the opportunity to purchase Christmas flowers in honor or in memory of loved ones. The suggested donation is $15. Names of those honored will appear in the bulletin on the Sunday after Christmas. Complete this form or fill out the form in the gathering space and turn it into the parish office.
Join us on Sunday, November 20th after the 10:30 a.m. Mass for a Eucharistic Procession around Dinkytown with hospitality offered after. This is not an officially sponsored event by the Eucharistic Revival happening in our Archdiocese, only inspired in this year(s) of reviving faith and power in the Eucharist.
Thanksgiving Mass will be Thursday, November 24th at 9 a.m. ONLY. 12:15 p.m. Mass or Confession WILL NOT be offered this day. The building will be closed for the remainder of the day and Friday, November 25th. Saturday, November 26th, 9 a.m. Mass followed by confession will take place as usual.
Join us for Mass at 12:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st for All Saints Day. All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation. Following the 7:30 p.m. Mass, refreshments will be offered in the Gathering Space.
